What’s a leveled pageant? It’s one pageant with Local, State, and National winners. Like our seasonal pageants, the leveled pageant is photo-based and has ONE entry fee for all three levels combined. The difference is the leveled pageant has an aadded “achievements” category that is judged.
The registration deadline is May 1st each year and winners will be announced on International Tiara Day: May 24th. State and local titles run for one year from the date of registration. National titles run for one year from May 24th.
Inclusivity
Grace & Charm Pageantry is a truly inclusive pageant system. We do not discriminate based on age, race, religion, national origin, disability, or gender, including gender expression. Age groups are offered for everyone: babies to adults!
Every body is beautiful at any size. There are no requirements for body size, shape, height, weight. Further, there are no prohibitions on tattoos, piercings, body art, or non-standard hair colors/styles. Our judges are chosen because they understand the importance of judging each contestant with the attitude that every individual has unique worth and beauty.
Age Divisions
Contestants compete in their age group as of May 1st and contestants age 13+ may choose to compete for the gender neutral title of Mx. All contestants age 13+ must designate their preferred title or the pageant office will select the title for them based on contestant photo submission.
- Baby Miss/Master: Under 1 year
- Toddler Miss/ Master: Under 2 years
- Tiny Miss/ Master: 2-3 years
- Little Miss/ Master: 4-6 years
- Petite Miss/ Master: 7-9 years
- Junior Miss/ Master: 10-12 years
- Junior Teen Miss/Mr/Mx: 13-15 years
- Teen Miss/Mister/Mx: 16-18 years
- Collegiate Miss/Mr/Mx: 19-24 years
- Miss/Mr/Mx: 25-39
- Sophisticated Miss/Mr/Mx: 40+

For a local/state/national leveled pageant, our entry fee is one of the lowest in the industry. Your entry fees start at less than $30 and include your local, state and national entries, so you have nothing to lose. Check out our Entry Fees & Prizes page for more details.
Important Information
- Shipping for prizes is included inside the USA only at this time. Prize winners located outside the USA are responsible for shipping/customs fees.
- Titleholders can hold seasonal titles, ie Summer Fun, Winter Wonderland, etc in addition to their local/state/national title.
- There is absolutely NO contract, no non-compete and no required appearances.
- Each title runs for one year. You can recompete for the next year’s title if you wish. Returning leveled pageant royalty will receive a discount on future entry fees.
- Photos can be glam or natural and should reflect the individual.
- One photo per main entry; additional photos can be submitted for optional titles.
Judging
For the photo segment of this pageant, our judges will be looking at various factors to make their decisions including:
- Clarity of image: is the subject in focus?
- Age appropriateness: is the type of shoot/outfit appropriate to the age of the contestant?
- Retouching should be kept minimal and reflect the age/style of the entry: ie, is this a glam photo or natural photo? Is this a small child or a teen/adult?
- Does it fit the theme of the pageant?
- Is it visually appealing?
Photos are scored using a 5 point basis with a max possible score of 25.
For the achievement segment of this pageant, points are earned based on the contestant’s submitted resume/list of accomplishments. Each accomplishment will receive 5 points with a maximum of 100 points awarded. Accomplishments are based on age/ability. For the youngest contestants they can be anything like “[Baby Contestant] said first word/crawled” or “[Toddler Contestant] sounded out letters for the first time”, “[5 year old contestant] sang the ABC song”. School-age contestants may use any classroom awards to earn points. Any contestant can earn points for any academic, artistic, or athletic accomplishment.
Winners are determined in each age division using the above guidelines and are not judged in comparison to any other contestant. A minimum of 50 points must be earned to be awarded a title. No ties will be broken. Should a tie happen, all tied contestants will be awarded the same title.
Optional Awards
A variety of optional competitions are available for a small additional fee. Optional events are overall titles. Winners are determined by the highest score of all entries for a particular pageant. Optional awards have no bearing on age division winners.

- Theme Wear – judged only on outfit
- Those Eyes! – judged only on eyes
- That Hair! – judged only on hair
- That Smile! – judged only on smile
- Print Model – 3/4 or full body photo
- Natural Beauty – Minimally retouched/un retouched photo
- Most Glamorous – Glam retouch, no super glitz retouches
